Iran produces unmanned surface vehicle

Iranian researchers have produced an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) that can conduct a wide range of missions.

The USV - Code Named Ariana - was unveiled during a ceremony showcasing the recent research and technological achievements of the Science and Research Branch of the Islamic Azad University in Tehran on Sunday.

Project manager Behrouz Asadi told reporters that Ariana is highly maneuverable, has smart information processing systems, and can transmit images of its surrounding maritime environment.

He added that Ariana can be used to conduct military, surveillance, rescue and environmental protection missions.

Asadi concluded that the unmanned surface vehicle designed and made by Iran can travel as fast as 30 nautical knots (54 kilometers) per hour, and can carry a payload of four kilograms.

Democratic lawmaker: To get gun control, Obama must ‘exploit’ shooting

A veteran Democratic lawmaker believes the nation will go along with stronger gun control laws if President Obama “exploits” the Newtown, Conn., tragedy and nudges Congress to action.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler, who represents portions of New York City, said he was encouraged by Mr. Obama’s statement on Friday afternoon that the mass shooting, which claimed the lives of 20 young children, requires “meaningful action” by Congress, but hopes those words turn into concrete legislation.

“These incidents, these horrible, horrible incidents … are happening more and more frequently. And they will continue to happen more and more frequently until someone with the bully pulpit, and that means the president, takes leadership and pushes Congress,” Mr. Nadler said during an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” with Ed Schultz.

Mr. Nadler was asked whether the Newtown tragedy could be the turning point in many Democrats’ longstanding struggle to enact stronger gun laws.

“I think we will be there if the president exploits it, and otherwise we’ll go on to the next” incident, Mr. Nadler said.
Mr. Nadler joins New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten and others who quickly turned their attention to gun control laws in the hours following Friday’s shooting, one of the worst campus massacres in U.S. history.

Police State advocate, Dianne Feinstein, wants to strip Americans of arbitrary objects that she thinks only should be owned by the Government. Soon we could see a new era of the War on Guns in America, complete with SWAT-teams breaking down doors of gun owners for owning a firearm that Feinstein believes looks too scary for civilians to own.

“I’m going to introduce in the Senate and the same bill will be introduced in the House, a bill to ban assault weapons. It will ban the sale, the transfer, the importation and the possession. Not retroactively but prospectively. And it will ban the same for big clips, drums or strips of more than 10 bullets. So there will be a bill. We’ve been working on it now for a year,” Feinstein said on NBC’s “Meet The Press” during a discussion about guns following Friday’s deadly mass shooting as a Connecticut school.

There are many things Obama hates, but only two things he really loves: Green energy and Muslims. And finally he’s found a way to put both together at the same time. And it will only cost U.S. taxpayers $6 billion dollars.

FrontPage Magazine 20,000 Marines are to be fired and the money is being used for Obama’s Green Energy companies and his Muslim empowerment program.

Sure for that $6 billion, we might not have to fire those 20,000 Marines that Barry Hussein has decided to get off, and we wouldn’t have to cut their health care, the way his Center for American Progress has pushed him to do… but Muslims with Green Energy count more.

Now this U.S.-Asia Pacific Comprehensive Partnership for a Sustainable Energy Future is not supposed to be limited to just Muslims, but considering that it’s been announced with the leaders of two Muslim governments, one of them that of his favorite country, Indonesia, this looks like another expensive bout of Muslim pandering.

Recognizing that energy and the environment are among the most pressing issues confronting our region, President Obama, in partnership with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei and President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, today proposed the U.S.-Asia Pacific Comprehensive Partnership for a Sustainable Energy Future.

Indonesia and Brunei are not exactly the two big countries that spring to mind when you think of Asian Green Energy, but these days our priority is to try and buy off Muslims so they don’t kill us. And how better to do that than with the great green energy obsession of the Democratic Party’s gang of eco-crony capitalists.

The United States will provide up to $6 billion to support the Partnership including •The Export-Import Bank of the United States will launch a program to make available up to $5 billion in export credit financing to eligible countries in the region over the next four years to increase access to American technology, services and equipment for the implementation of energy infrastructure projects;

• OPIC will provide up to $1 billion in financing for sustainable power and energy infrastructure projects.

In theory we’re supposed to get that money back. In practice, we’re giving two Asian Muslim countries 6 billion dollars to buy influence with. Not only will that money be used to help terrorists by empowering Muslim states in the region, but good luck seeing any of it again because there’s actually another tier to this scam.

Obama is funneling money to Muslim countries so that they’ll buy Green Energy tech from his eco-crony capitalist donors. The shell game is that these companies are on the brink of bankruptcy and Obama is trying to use foreign aid to bail them out.

Though I am not now, nor ever have been, an owner of a firearm, I am a 100% supporter of our 2nd Amendment and understand EXACTLY why it is so important that we as Americans retain that right. For one thing, imagine how quickly our 1st Amendment would be out the window if and when 'they' take away our 2nd Amendment!
